The initiative was started in 2018.  The winners from the competition “Ambassador for a Day” begin their journey shadowing a female Ambassador in Sofia. First,  they met with Vice President Iliyana Yotova and discussed women’s participation in politics. After that they took part in a roundtable on gender equality alongside leading Bulgarian politicians, business representatives, academics, diplomats and non-governmental organisations.
